Balance plans and compare planned with actual sales

Procedure

  1. Open Planning > Planning process management and choose the scenario and planning period. Confirm that the scenario uses this workspace.
  2. Inspect the stage/type structure and item-period detail, including opening stock, supply, demand and closing balance.
  3. Open an existing plan or create a missing plan from its cell. Review recalculation indicators and update source data before recalculating supply.
  4. Apply only the intended planned-demand adjustment and review changed quantities before recalculating all plans.
  5. Reconcile an independent example 10 opening + 5 planned receipts − 8 planned sales = 7 closing in the same unit and period.
  6. Generate the sales-plan performance report for the same scenario and dimensions; compare actual sales/payments separately from forecast quantities.
  7. Use Convert plan to purchase orders as a separate workflow for approved procurement needs. Planned demand is not itself a posted supplier order.
