Create loan/deposit contracts and payment schedules

Loan/deposit contracts and schedules must be available in the financial-instrument setup. Ask the administrator to confirm this feature if no contract list is available.

Use an approved financial agreement, opening balances and lender schedule. Financial-instrument contracts are distinct from ordinary vendor/customer settlement contracts.

Start at Open loan/deposit contracts if the financial-instrument feature is available.

Procedure

  1. Create the loan/deposit contract for the partner and company. Choose lender/borrower role, issued/received/deposit type, currency and principal.
  2. Enter term, maturity and bank accounts. Set distinct cash-flow and income/expense items for principal, interest and commission.
  3. Review financial accounting group and business segment with accounting. Save the contract and open the schedule management action.
  4. Enter/import tranche, payment and accrual rows. Check principal, interest and fee dates separately; compare imported totals with the approved lender schedule.
  5. Mark the authorized original schedule approved and the current execution schedule in use where supported. Preserve prior variants as history rather than overwriting them silently.
  6. Activate the contract only after review. Compare schedules and run plan-versus-actual analysis to confirm the intended expected cash flows and accrual periods.

Check the result

Principal, interest and fees remain separate and the active schedule matches the authorized agreement.

If the result differs

Schedule is unavailable: check contract date, saved record and feature access. Payments/interest overlap: review amount types and active schedule version before proceeding.
