Purchase invoice creation
Earlier-interface video. Follow the written steps below for the current workflow; sample values are illustrative. Any tax values shown are not guidance for the current transaction.
Before you start
Use a Vendor invoice to record the purchase. Have the supplier, legal counterparty, warehouse, actual quantities, prices and supplier document details ready. If items require batches, also prepare the batch numbers and expiry dates.
If a purchase order already exists, use invoice creation from the order to retain its source link and review the remaining quantities.
Invoice posting and physical warehouse receiving are separate checks. For a warehouse with order-based receiving, complete the separate receipt required by that process and verify the stock report.
The illustrated standalone entry point is Purchasing > Purchase documents (all). The existing video and screenshots show an earlier interface; labels can differ in your configuration.

Click to Create, choose Vendor invoice, next click Purchase from vendor.

Choose Vendor.

Click to Add for add item or items to invoice.

Choose item, tap to Select.

Insert Quantity and Price of items

Tap to Post and close to create an Invoice

Check the result
Reopen the saved invoice. Check the supplier and legal counterparty, warehouse, source-document link where used, item quantities and units, prices, required batches, price-includes-VAT basis and final total.
If posting reports a required batch, complete Batch using F4, check the batch number and expiry details, and retry after the line is filled. See item batches and expiry.
Then check the relevant stock report. If the warehouse uses order-based receiving, verify the separate warehouse receipt; a saved invoice alone does not prove physical stock availability.
