Set a temporary price and verify prices used in sales
Procedure
- Open Prices (price list), select the intended item/type and effective date, and inspect its existing price history.
- For a time-limited campaign, use the supported period/campaign fields and define both start and end, preserving the ordinary price record.
- Apply the price change and inspect its registration/history.
- Create controlled sales documents dated before, inside and after the campaign; verify the actual price type, agreement and filled unit price rather than assuming a saved price is used.
- Generate the Price List report for each relevant date/type; inspect item-without-price filters separately so a missing row is not mistaken for a missing item.
- For an incorrect value, inspect effective date, item/characteristic, currency/VAT basis, customer terms and historical records before registering another price.
