Pick goods from bins, check and pack the shipment

Use a configured address-managed shipping warehouse, a valid issue instruction and available batches. Informational bins use a different process.

Start at Warehouse and delivery > Goods issue from warehouse.

Procedure

  1. Create the goods issue for the selected instruction, assign the shipping zone and move it to the picking stage where the workflow requires it.
  2. On the bin-picking workspace, inspect readiness: awaiting putaway, replenishment required or ready to create tasks. Resolve prerequisite tasks instead of overriding availability.
  3. Use the picking task creation action for the intended rows. Review batch, bins, package quantities, work areas and weight/volume limits before issuing tasks.
  4. Assign/print the task and begin its execution. Pick goods physically into the shipping zone and record the actual quantity picked.
  5. Record successful completion only when all required goods were picked. For a shortage, record actual quantities and errors; investigate or block a problematic bin through Block storage bins.
  6. Fill the goods issue from completed picking results. Use the check-and-pack action/verification where required, comparing item, batch, quantity and packing-list assignment.
  7. Move the issue to its shipping-ready state, then record actual shipment. Check the shipping-zone balance and unfulfilled order remainder.

Check the result

Picked, checked and shipped quantities reconcile; a picking task’s completion is not itself proof of final shipment.

If the result differs

Picking is unavailable: resolve pending placement, replenishment or locked bins. Picked less than required: record the shortage and review the source order instead of marking full completion.
